Where to start? I am so multi-faceted. But seriously … I’m a mom (have to put that first now) to Alec, who is 3 years old. He’s a happy little monkey who loves sharp-tooth dinosaurs, eats practically anything you serve him and is full of hugs and kisses. His life is chronicled on the Alleycatmom blog.
My husband is Tom Angel. We met in college in early 1991. He’s currently caring for Alec during the day and working at Trader Joe’s by night and on weekends. He was employed as a professional photographer for many years and now works on a freelance basis; here’s Tom Angel’s photography site.
After spending 14 post-college years as a journalist/ newspaper reporter and editor, I’m now in Web publishing.
I’m really good at research and copyediting, but my first love is reporting breaking news.
I am an aspiring Web entrepreneur; check out the links list to the right to see my Tipsites. I enjoy making sites with great content that’s helpful to parents and others in search of information. I’m also a fairly accomplished scrapbooker. My pages have been published in magazines twice and I teach classes at Magic Moments and Keepsakes in Chico at least once a month. I don’t have as much time to work on my own scrapbooks anymore, but I enjoy it when I do.
